Ability: Blistering Tundra.

Izaga Dex entry: This athletic but short and stocky Fakemon raced across the arctic tundra of the Izaga region during the last Ice Age, and chased down its prey at speeds exceeding thirty miles an hour. By using the black rings surrounding their eyes, Koriorve could endure the blinding glare of the full noon sun across the snow and ice and track a target within twenty-five meters quite easily.

Unlike their evolution, Koriorve lacked the dense layer of fur and kept their manes close-cropped and compact near the skin to prevent overheating during their wild chases, and as a result when Koriursa began to go extinct, Koriorve were able to survive for close to a thousand years longer while hunting down Piloswine.

The strength concealed within their densely muscled paws could knock around the diminished form of their natural prey quite easily, and it is thought that when the climate grew warmer they began to break apart the very land beneath their feet during chases, leaving them stranded adrift.
