This idea came to me last year, while watching an episode of Pokémon. I started thinking about a particular ability based off of information I had read about the B/W season's beginning episodes, and that in turn brought me around to thinking on what kind of Fakemon would actually wield the ability I was imagining.
My on-going Izaga Region spritedex only has less than half of its entries filled, but this may have inspired me to work from the other end of the spectrum - rather than imagine a design or name first and proceeding from there, instead conceptualizing the ability first and positing how the creature(s) would come together from there.
So here we are. The Izaga Region Ability Dex, where I will continually update the list as the ideas come to me. If anyone else is also using similar ideas behind their abilities, no plagiarism is intended. I haven't browsed the site looking for ideas to steel. Nominally I create an ability at the final stage - sprite done and uploaded, filling in types, weight, and index information. If I can find an official ability that fits, most of the time I'll fall back on that.
If you'd like to use any of these, contact me first!

Izaga's History
I Z A G A Introductory Lore In the ancient past, the Izaga Region was created from little by the Isle Creation Duo, Izagi and Izami, and populated by many of their children; the Yomi Trio, Kyotsuka, Ohirasu, and Hayasusa; the Orochi Solo, Oronagi; and many others, including Ohirasu's sacred guardian wolf, Eromi. When Oronagi stirred up chaos in his drunken campaigns and finally wounded Ohirasu, Hayasusa took it upon himself to carve the land apart and trap the snake Kami and those who followed him away from the rest of Izaga. The pain of Hayasusa's vengeful decision saw Izagi and Izami enter into conflict over the justness of his actions and in the end, when no agreement could be met, they broke apart and settled into the divided continent until their spirits merged into the land. In anguish over his actions, Hayasusa deemed himself unworthy of walking among his siblings and lessors, and repeated his crime upon the north-western shores, condemning himself to eternal exile

State of the Izaga'dex in 2019 and beyond
As I continue to compile all of the various notes made these last several years and look back on the state of the Izaga Region and Fakedex, I realize that the numbers can be filled out with further entries while some that are already present must undergo revision work--be it to their concept data, or to their sprite, if not both.
Another matter that I once prided myself on is that the Izaga'dex does not include any slots for the natural species that come before or after certain fakes, something which I had seen other fakedexs do and that I had never approved of. Recently I've come to change my mind on this. The next time that I update the cu
The Izaga Region Fakedex revised descriptions
In conjunction with the Izaga Region spritedex, I decided it would be helpful to have a listing of the Fakedex descriptions from beginning to end. This will allow me a place to store data accumulated for those who do not yet have entries available as stand-alone submissions because their sprites are as of yet incomplete. In addition I plan to do the same for the Ashido Region once I've updated the empty spritedex with relevant names, IDs, and typing. Consider the below to be the most accurate versions over the original entry information found on the individual pages at present.
